Dr. Jeana Ned was born on January 3, 1952 in Madisonville, Texas to the parents of T.D.and Dories Johnson. She is the sixth child of thirteen siblings. Dr. Jeana Ned spent the majority of her young life living in Madisonville.

She attended Wilson Chapel C.O.G.I.C., where the foundation for her morals and Christian beliefs was firmly established. This church also served as the training ground for her adult spiritual life and her future career and Kingdom work.

In 1971, Dr. Jeana graduated from Madisonville High School, and moved to Houston to attend Modern Beauty College, where she later obtained her license in Cosmetology. During the course of her cosmetology career, Dr. Jeana became the owner of three beauty salons in the Houston area. Known as a true professional in her field, Dr. Jeana has trained many of her counterparts to become leaders in the hair and beauty industry.

In 2001, she decided to further her education by attending and graduating from Dudley University in North Carolina. Dr. Jeana also obtained her Master’s and Ph.D. in hair cutting from Helix University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Later, Dr. Jeana served at Evangelist Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of the late Reverend Joe E. Nelson and Bishop Rufus Kyles. While there, she was involved in several different ministries. Dr. Jeana quickly discovered her passion for the youth and young women, and also served as the church coordinator for many years.

Dr. Jeana was united in love and holy matrimony to Apostle David Ned, and together, they founded Recharge Christian Fellowship Church (RCF). To their union was added one son, and three daughters, and they are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren.

Feeling the great call of God on her life, Dr. Jeana became an ordained minister in 2008. Committed to seeing her vision of women making a difference come to pass, she founded the the Women of Power Ministry at RCF. This ministry allows women to use their gifts and talents to impact the Kingdom of God. Dr. Jeana strongly believes that empowered and influential women can change not only their communities, but the world itself.

Currently, she serves as the Co-Pastor of RCF along with her husband Apostle David Ned. Dr. Jeana is also the Director of the Women’s Ministries at RCF, and a certified Christian counselor, and life coach. Dr. Jeana has a passion for helping hurting women all across Houston and the world, as she mentors them to improve their everyday living.

Whether via cosmetology of other outreach ministries, it is Dr. Jeana’s kindness, spirituality, and passion for improving the lives of others that has truly made a difference. One thing is for sure, she knows she was created to be a problem-solver.

Professionally and spiritually successful, Dr. Jeana Ned has changed the lives of countless individuals for years, and continues to do so through her compassion and love for people. Certainly showing no signs of slowing down any time soon, she daily re-commits herself to her Kingdom assignments.

Dr. Jeana enjoys spending time with family, shopping, traveling, decorating, studying the Word of God, and praying for others.
