Our Vision & Purpose
There is a strength that comes when women of destiny and purpose come together to build relationships with each other with the goal of encouraging, supporting, mentoring, and building each other up in the Lord.
As women, we have been created with a divine purpose. We nurture, we uphold, we bring peace, and we exude the love of God that has been shed abroad in our hearts. That is not only powerful, it’s life changing.
Unfortunately, this kind of power doesn’t just happen. Every woman is walking her own path and each one has a different point of need.
. Some are beat down and hurting from the cares of life
· Some are unsure of their faith
· Others believe but are held captive by the lies of the enemy
· Some feel isolated, alone in their fight
Women of Power was designed for this very reason. To bring women together; sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends, to share the joy, compassion, and love of Christ with each other.
Women of Power desires to meet each woman at the exact point of her need, and equip her to live in the abundance, victory, forgiveness and freedom that is rightfully hers. God has called us to live abundant and prosperous lives, not just financially but in our relationships, our careers, with our children, in our ministry, our health, and every other area that touches our lives!
Every time we meet, whether it is a women’s night out, a retreat, or a shared cup of coffee, the purpose is always to grow in our relationship with God and to knit ourselves together in love through prayer, fellowship, sharing, and striving for the common goal, which is victory in Jesus Christ!
When Do We Meet?
Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday Women of Power ministers during Wednesday night Bible study.
Every 4th Friday night of the month is “Girlie Girl” time. We start the night out with light refreshments and fellowship and then have a time of ministry specifically focusing on the real issues affecting our lives. The Holy Spirit has led us to minister on some of the following topics:
- Raising Children as a Single Mother
- Married but Single
- How to be a Virtuous Woman
- What Does it Mean to Be a Submissive Wife?
- Being Saved and Single
- Learning How to Embrace Who God Created You to Be
- How to Start a Business
